4h 'GRADUATING SPEECH"

hey hey! heres the 'GRADUATING' speech which we wrote out yesterday night, but was told last minute that we dhp didnt need to present it as we werent GRADUATING =_=. but no harm putting it here to let u all read! haha ENJOY!(((:

Four years has passed since we stepped into Dunman High school. All of us entered this school, full of big dreams and hopes. After the Dunman High integrated programme was being introduced, we were attracted by it, and thus we joined the programme. These two short years of upper secondary life together was a fulfilling and enriching one for all of us in 4h06.

4H is an enthusiastic and lively class. There is never a single day where you fail to here laughters coming from our class. 4H is made up of 36 of us with different personalities, but we managed to work well with each other.

During our wonderful two years together, we did many things as a class, and we have forged a strong bond among all of us. We always participate actively in school activities, one such mention is the Creative classroom challenge. Be it the making of classblog, class teeshirt or classroom noticeboard and wall painting designs. To study in a classroom that looks so much like home was certainly comfortable! And it was very heartwarming to see all of us coming together working as one for a common goal. Thus it was very rewarding when we emerged as the overall champion!

Also, 4h participated in teacher’s day celebration for both years by putting up a dance by the whole class. It might not be the best dance, but it certainly was a lovely and memorable experience for all of us. And we will never forget it.

Here, we will like to thank all our teachers who made our life journey so wonderful! Special thanks to Ms Tan, our form teacher, for all your care and concern for us. Thank you Mrs Janet Tan for being our wonderful maths teacher. Thank you so much for taking your time to come down to give us extra lessons when you were already busy with your own work! Thank you Mr Jason Ng for brightening up our lesson with your magic card tricks although it failed. Thank you Mdm loh for all your enlightening life lessons and always trying to make us happier whenever we felt down. Thank you for the memorable closure that helped us realise how much we loved each other and to treasure each other even though our dreams are different. Thank you Mr Lim for your enthusiasm in relating physics theory to everyday life, for the remedial lessons you gave to those weaker in physics, for the small little note you left us at the corner of the whiteboard wishing us all the best during our exams, encouraging us to pursue our dreams. Thank you Mrs bok for your interesting geography lessons with wonderful powerpoint slides and fieldtrips, and spreading your love for geography to us. Thank you Mr fong for being our wonderful Fong ba and for all the treats and stories you shared with us. Thank you Mr Chew for all the wonderful PE lessons we had together, for livening up our days with your jokes. Thank you Mr Kiw for all the lessons you taught us about life, what to do to make our lives more meaningful and also to think for our future, to live for our dreams. Thank you Ms Tan Siu-Li for being so nice and making language arts interesting with your occasional jokes. And last but not least, Mr Helmi! Our dear 3H form teacher who is no longer in Dunman High but will be remembered by all of us for his creative maths website, his jokes and his innovative ways in teaching maths to get us engaged. We will never forget all these teachers who in one way or another added live and spice to our lives!

Before I end my speech, I would like to say that we should always treasure our friendship with people around us. Though we may have different dreams, and may all walk different paths in our future to come, I hope that all of us will still keep in contact with one another. All the best to all of you out there! Dare to dream, pursue your dreams and live your dreams!

hi everyone!
i really feel bad about not speaking up during the 'CLOSURE' just now, and so if i dont get these words out of my mouth, i will regret it for my whole life. so here i am to dedicate one entire entry to 4h06 ! =D

im really glad that i have gotten past these 2 years with you guys. yes, ALL OF YOU. its each and everyone of you, who made 3h05 and 4h06 the class we are. though we may be looked down upon, as the ahherm ' worst' dhp class, we didnt totally give up on ourselves did we?

sad to say, there were some misunderstandings during these two years, resulting in cliques in our class.but still, we have made it these far. and i would like all of us to forget whatever unhappiness which happened in the past, and look on the happier and brighter side of life, and move on together, the 36 of us.

thanks to everyone in 4h06 for livening up the spirit in class during lessons everyday without fail!

i will always remember all the happy times we had together..

here, i would also like to say a big thankyou to yokesan! who has done much for the class, always taking attendance dutifully ((: , and always agreeing to help me no matter what it is, there was never once when she refused ! THANK YOU!! THANKYOU!

though we may part and separate into different classes next year, i seriously hope that all of us will still keep in contact with each other, and still talk to each other for YEARS to come.

so today wasnt really a CLOSURE, yeah? 4h06's spirit will continue....
and please remember these two important dates -
10 october 2018 10am, our bet with mr fong , lol !!
14 october 2031 dhs 75th anniversary day!

lastly, all the best to everyone, no matter what you do in the future. i will rmbr each and everyone of you .

my final last words, i really hope that everyone will be able to make it for the 4h06 class chalet! its on the 20-22nov! So, PLEASE KEEP THOSE DATES FREE okay? and please also rmbr to bring $10 tmr for the chalet k! X)) haha

Hello people!

FREEDOM has arrived!! End of mugging!!

We're flying off to Nanjing soon aye? Bon Voyage to all. And hope all of you can enjoy the trip in all the schools. For those that are staying for 2 weeks, we'll meet again in Haimen. And those staying for 4 weeks, see ya on 8th october! Haha.

Remember to pack your lugguage carefully! And don't forget to bring all the things needed. Most importantly, don't be late on 10th Sept! 5.45am at T2. (:

There'll be a meeting in school on friday for Nanjing trip. Think is 9am or 10am in the hall!

Hello!

School is starting tomorrow. That marks the end of our enjoyment! Hope all of you had a good rest during the holidays and most important, finish up all your holiday assignments!

Don't forget to bring your portfolio consisting of at least 4 reflections and 8 artifacts!

And, did you all see what Mrs Janet Tan tagged on the tagboard? She's going for a 4 month course!!!! :(

The class outing was not very successful because many people did not turn up for it. But we had fun at Sentosa!! Most are sick, especially those who went on CO trip. Whatever reason is it, I hope that more people will turn up for the next class outing so that we can all have fun together ok!

an inspiring story!

hello fellow 4oreHeaders! :D haha. this is my first time posting an entry. lol. i'm here to share with you an inspiring story that i read from an email.

this is how it goes:

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then, he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about it. One day, a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the rock to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying on the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King, indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understood! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.

so people, no matter how hard things may seem, no matter what problems and obstacles we face with, let's face them bravely. they will only do us good if we carry a very positive attitude. they aint, NO WAY, gonna get us down. so JIAYOU okayy! xD

wheee... time really flies this year lorz... so fast end of term 1 liao... whahahaz... this term, a lot of changes are made, especially our attitude and 'seats'... hahahz... it caused quite a lot of unhappiness to everyone of us and also affected our class unity...
